Key Responsibilities

Prior to her tenure at CIMB, Anarkali was a partner at Amura Consulting, a Singapore-based financial advisory boutique specializing in small to mid-cap transactions in frontier markets, including private equity, mergers & acquisitions, and financial structuring. Her career began at Merrill Lynch in Singapore, where she focused on cross-border M&A transactions across the ASEAN region. She later transitioned to Merrill Lynch Europe in London, working on corporate finance transactions involving equity, equity-linked, and debt financing solutions for corporate clients across Europe.

Anarkali also contributes her expertise as a board member of Keells Hotels PLC and the Lankan Angel Network, a platform for angel and private investors supporting high-growth early-stage Sri Lankan ventures.
